Rachel was born and raised here in Phoenix, AZ. After graduating from high school, Rachel ventured north to the cooler climate and beautiful mountains of northern Arizona where she attended Northern Arizona University. While a student at NAU, she studied Elementary Education with an emphasis on Early Childhood Development. In addition to her collegiate studies, Rachel was a swim instructor for four years, helping children between the ages of two and eight discover and develop their swimming skills.
 
Rachel returned to Phoenix in 2006 to pursue a career in the mortgage industry where she established a reputation for exceptional client service by excelling at meeting existing customer needs. However, by the end of 2007, Rachel felt the desire to find a career which would provide more challenges and opportunities for professional growth.
 
In January 2008 Rachel began her career with Kent Welborn at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. As Kent’s Director of Client Services, Rachel effectively handles the in-coming requests from new and existing clients. She also acts as the main line of communication between local network departments and the Home Office. Her talent to accurately facilitate communication has allowed Kent Welborn to offer rapid delivery of services to his clients at all stages of their financial security planning.
 
Rachel is close to her family and friends including her older sister Sarah and her one & a half-year old black lab. While away from the office, she spends her time listening to music, going to concerts, bicycle riding, camping, reading, watching movies, playing golf and traveling.
